How long before I can access my account?

Does hostingni put adverts on my website?

Do you take money from my Credit Card without notifying me?

Are there any restrictions on what I use web space for or or what content I upload?

Yes. We prohibited any hosting file distribution websites for example music, video and software. We do not allow any adult content orientated websites or sites that are used for hosting banners, graphics or cgi scripts for other websites. You are not allowed to store pages, files or data for other websites or personal computers. You may not give away web space under a domain, sub domain or directory to another party.

How do I transfer a .co.uk, .me.uk or .org.uk domain name?

A.

If you are transferring your domain name to hostingni before your domain/hosting account can become active you need to change the IPSTAG on your domain to "EXTEND". You will need to contact your previous hosting company to change the IPSTAG. These changes can take up to 48 hours to become active.

How do I transfer a .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz or .name domain name?

A.

Before you start the transfer you must ensure that the current administration contact email address is valid and that the person receiving email at that address knows that they must respond to emails about the transfer.

 

Contact your current registrar/ hosting company and let them know that you wish to do a Full Domain Transfer to hostingni, they will require our DNS server settings

You also need to request your domain's Authorization Code (also referred to as an auth code, Authinfo code or an EPP code). An authorization code is usually a 6- to 16-character code assigned by the registrar. Authorization codes are basically a password for the domain serving as an extra security measure. The auth codes ensure that only a domain owner can make domain name transfers.

The administration contact will receive an email from OpenSRS with instructions on how to confirm the transfer.

Once confirmed it may take up to seven days for the transfer to take place dependent on your current registrar policy.

You may also receive another email from the current registrar, if you do you should read this very carefully as it may contain instructions for you to authorise the transfer away from them. Please email us when this has been done so that we can accept the transfer, if you are having any difficulty or need any advice on this please contact us.
